50/50 but I still feel the same
Luckily BM agreed to do 50/50 for the time being. I'm still irritated so I can't imagine how much worse it would be if I had to do full time. I don't know if it's just SDs age (7) but she fights me on everything. If I ask her to do anything she doesn't want to do it's defiance that then snowballs into "well you aren't my mom" "you aren't the boss of me" I swear I hear the "Youre not my mom" about once a week now. It's BS. I know she's the child and I'm trying to be understanding and realize that she is going through a lot of change, but when I hear that it's like why do I try.

Accepting the inevitable
So DH has decided he will not be giving in to BM and changing up the custody. I can't blame him I guess. This means I will for sure be responsible for SDs (7) homeschool for the foreseeable future. Homeschooling, raising a baby, running the house, and working parttime. Yippee! -sarcasm- I can already feel how burnt out I'm going to be soon.

I feel like there is no winning
Hey everyone. I'm new here. I'm newly married and a mom to my infant son and step mom to SD 7. We have been in each other's lives for about 2 years now. My DH has custody due to BMs history of drug use and instability. BM currently has most weekends and has more time in the summer. BM has always wanted full custody and SD wants that too. BM says she has been clean for probably a year and a half now.
