OT- Funny Story that the Dads will appreciate more
So last evening was Cookies with Santa at GSD’s school, GSS gets antsy after a while at these functions so he and stayed home instead of ruining the time for GSD and DW.
We always have fun together, there is always a few moments of having to parent him but for the most part it’s “Guys Time”. We do stupid stuff, I allow him to do things that would make DW wince (he’s a bit of a daredevil) basically we just enjoy each other alone for a while.
Well as it tends to happen I needed to use the restroom, so being there alone he comes with me, which is fine, I used it as a lesson time in how “Big Boys” use the potty, we are trying potty training so this is just information for further down the line. I go through the normal “ Don’t touch, that’s dirty” when he tries to touch the bowl but beyond that it’s him repeatedly saying “ Pap Pap going pee pee in the potty “ and me responding, “Yes, I’m going pee pee in the potty, this is how big boys do it” . Last night he upped the ante and put his little hand right in the stream, looked at and then proceeded to wipe both hands together lol I was losing it laughing hysterically and hoping to gawd he didn’t touch his face as I was still in m id action and trying desperately to finish up to take care of him.
He’s peed on me plenty of times in his short two years so I guess turnabout is fair play lol

Bahahahaha! As a mother with a 2.5 year old I'm trying to potty train, I find this hilarious.
Just the other night I was giving our son a bath when his eyes got wide and he says, "Uh-ohhhhh. Pope! Pope!" I'm trying to figure out how the hell he knows about the leader of the Catholic Church when he jumps out of the tub and squats down on his potty, grunting like daddy does. He was so proud of his tiny pope in the potty.
"Pope !", that awesome ! I

The look on his face was priceless, a mixture of confusion and suprise. When he starting wiping his hands together I knew we had a short time till he wiped his head with it as well lol Only thing that would have topped it off is if he had said " Hot!" as he does to anything that is either dangerous or actully hot / warm lol
