OK someone please tell me what to do. My SD16, has twice, in the past, snuck out of the house. The last time she went thru her bedroom window and left in a car around 1am. Her dad grounded her for 1 month. I know thats not long enough but what can I do. So Now this morning she texted my daughter and asked her when her and my mother would be home (they went to a dr appt) so she could make sure she was home before they got back. Then to find out she had a guy sleep in her bedroom last night and went out with him this morning. The husband doesn't want to believe it.

I have a daughter who is 16, we are very close. Her dad died when she was 9 month old and I raised her for 10 years by myself. When I got married things changed of course, she addapted. Now my skids moved in with us, they are SD16 and SS13. I work full time and have my whole adult life. Finally making enough money to do things and buy things for my daughter. But now with the other two in the house I feel guilty and am made to feel guilty if I want to buy her something or do something with her, if I dont do it or buy his kids something too.

Why is he so blind when it comes to his children?

I don't understand and don't know what to do about this situation. We have been married for 4 years. I have a 16yr old daughter and he has a 16 yr old daughter and an 13yr old son. They moved in with us a year ago. Before they moved in he always said to me that his children never did what mine did. Well,Well,Well, was he wrong. They are all normal teenagers and are capable and do the same crap. He doesn't see it. When I say somthing he ALWAYS says what about your daughter. First of all my daughter was raised my way and knows what is acceptable and what is not.

What do you do with Skids friends coming over and wanting to spend more time with bio kid, then skid. My SD has a friend who would rather spend more time with my daughter than her. This causes lots of problems in my house. I have advised SD that she cannot dictate who the friend spends time with it is up to her but this is still a problem. My Husband keeps getting in the middle stating that its not fair but really we need to let them handle the problem even if the friend doesnt come over anymore am I right or is there a better solution?

I need help! I am a mother of a 16 yr old girl who is gay and I married a man with 3 kids, two girls 19 & 16 and a son,13. At first they came every other weekend. Then thier mother decided to give them up. (apperently she is single and loving it, but thats another story)She rarely sees them, doesn't paychild support and child support enforcement is dragging their feet catching up to her. Anyway, the 19 year old moved out to live with her boyfriend. Husband blames me.
