Nicole Curtis from Rehab Addict...

Had anyone else heard about the drama the HGTV/DIY Network star is in with the father of her second child? I followed the rabbit hole of links and it seems she had a 15 year court battle with the father of her first child and in his late teens, her son from that relationship ended up "running away" to his father's home in California and lives with him currently. I love HGTV and DIY and watched her show often enough. I even considered buying her book. But I think I'd rather not support yet another GUBM. (The one I've got now is plenty, thanks! LOL.)

The more I read, the more appalled I was at her behavior. You'd think after nearly three+ years of reading StepTalk posts this kind of behavior wouldn't shock me as much, but I'm surprised every time.

I don't think I'd trade my middle for hers if it meant I had to be that special GUBM type of crazy!

She is currently in Michigan renovating a house right around the corner for me.

I really have to stop myself from running over there on a daily basis and asking her what the fuck is wrong with her and how in gods name can she drag two men through the court system for basically what amounts to each of her children's whole lives.

I really do want to smack her.

She really is quite the whack job. She is actually related to a redneck clan then I went to high school with, which I didn't learn until very recently.

Now that I know that, her behavior makes perfect sense.

The father of this baby is a one night stand she had while living in Minnesota.

She moved here with the baby a few years ago when she was renovating another house in downtown Detroit. She's been all over the papers here with her GUBM behavior, dragging him in and out of my local county court.

The sympathy here lies with dad, and not with Nicole Curtis.

THis woman is batshit crazy sorry..

15 years custody battle with first child's father,

second baby daddy - kid is only 20 months old and already custody battle... with judge telling her you can't keep kid away from his father.. she ignores the judge

her own mother got a restraining order out against her...

Yeah, addicted people can't control themselves, they may say or do hurtful things. But, you just need to understand that it's not about their personality - it's about their addiction. I have a friend who was addicted to meth, it was a really sad story. Unfortunately, I don't know where he is now because the last time I spoke to him was three years ago. Thank god, I have never tried anything "heavier" than weed, even though I had many opportunities to try other drugs. I smoke weed which I buy from this site https://www.greenhouseil.com/morris/ for relaxation and meditation. I've been smoking weed for a year, and I don't feel any addiction at all. It just helps me to relax and to think about myself and my life.
