First, OH and I have been having some huge issues lately, so we had massive talks last Friday night - and have worked out a few things.

Had his kids Friday night and part of Saturday, my kids have been at their dads since last Friday. We were due to have his kids for a few hours Thursday evening, then all weekend from this afternoon, my kids get back tomorrow.

So Weds was our last night of kidlessness.

He started making murmurings on Weds about lunchtime about how the kids were alone at BM's and he might go and get them for the afternoon. I made it clear that he needed to drop them off on his way home from work as it was our last kid free night til July....

When he got home I had his favourite dinner cooked, my sexy lingerie on, and we made a night of it

It was wonderful, and long overdue.

So all day yesterday he was sending me cheeky texts and I really feel we are getting back to what we had before moving in together and all the skid/BM crap - I have strongly reminded him this last week that I am still the person he fell in love with. And worked hard on it

He got home with the skids about half 5, and was very loving to me, racing me off out of the room and getting a bit passionate in the kitchen, touching, just (sigh) lovely.

We were all sitting in the lounge at one point, discussing cooking tea, he had to put new wheels on ss9's scooter, and time was marching on (as it does) so I reminded him that a show we like to watch is on at half 8, and it's a bit rude - and as he was taping a footy show he needed to have the kids gone before then.... He said "Oh absolutely, will have them out of here by 8 so I don't have to miss all of it" Should have seen SD12's face - priceless - she realised a few things I think (thunderstruck)

a. that daddy has a life outside of when they are here,
b. that daddy is actually not going to keep them as long as possible (he could keep them til 10 if he wanted at the moment as they are still on school hols) because he has other stuff he wants to do....

The other thing also related to sd12.... I don't know how but we were all discussing silly/naughty things kids do, and OH mentioned the time that SD and one of her friends who lived close by called the police and reported that they were being beaten and scared etc (by OH) They were at the friends house, OH and BM had people over and were oblivious til the police turned up (LMAO)

He was horrified at what they had done, and the police (and OH) gave both girls a good talking too about how they had left another serious situation because of their prank call etc (because it was kids they have priority in response apparently)

OH was sort of mentioning last night as a bit of a joke but it really did upset him, his name and sd's and their address were the ones given in the call etc.

SD actually piped up and said "oh but daddy it wasn't me, I didn't do it, it was all (****) I never did anything"

And OH gets this tender look on his face like that MUST be the truth because Princess would never do that to him...

Before that crap could go any further I laughed and said "yeah, I bet that's what she told her parents too"

And he got it, he realised she was playing him and of course they were both involved.
