Question.....
My DH and the ex have a court order that states that any dental or medical expenses not covered by insurance be shared 60/40, with him paying the 60%. The parent who owes the other, has 30 days to pay in full from the date the receipt is provided for reimbursement. This order has been in effect for a little over a year. The first instance, she did not pay us within 30 days but when asked about our payment she said for DH to just to deduct it from the next child support payment which DH did, and made a notation of it on the memo line of the check.

Used and Abused!
Brief history....DH and BM have court ordered joint custody of SS7. Because of "issues" with SS and DH work schedule...he travels during the week 40% of the time, it was agreed upon by DH and BM that SS would live with her full-time and come to our home EOW. This was supposed to be a trial basis. However,BM has not allowed SS to visit EOW since June of this year. We have only seen him once briefly at his open house at school. Her reason is because she wants this new EOW agreement set by the court. We refuse to go back to court as this is an every year occurence...her witholding visitation.

BM and court ordered visitation...uhhhhh!
Thank you to anyone who reads or provides feedback! I have been reading many of the blogs for quite some time and can totally relate to so many of them! I was curious to find out how any of you resolved a BM not allowing a child to come for scheduled visits. We went down this route exactly one year ago and are traveling down the same road again now. BM and DH have joint custody of SS6. On my DH scheduled day to pick up son from BM, she was not at home with SS. Actually, we were not caught by surprise b/c she had threatened this earlier in the week over the phone.
