I’m so proud of SS6. It seems like he’s finally found his “voice.”

When I picked the kids up from school yesterday, SD8 said that she had a minor sore throat. Nothing else was said about it.

BM called DH at 5:30p to let him know that she was on her way to drop off SS’s homework folder that he has to turn in on Fridays. She didn’t show up until 8:30p. Well, when she got here, SD went out to her car. SS went out for a minute, came back and told DH that BM needed to see him. When DH came back inside he told me that SD was complaining that her throat was hurting “so bad.” SD ALWAYS complains that something’s going on if she isn’t getting 100% attention. DH says that he knows the kids are about to go home because he can just tell BM is doing her manipulative thing.

SD comes inside to get her backpack and leave. SS walks to the front door, yells “I’m staying here! BYE!” and shuts it! He didn’t seem like he wanted to ride the bus to BM’s after school today either. I’m glad the kid is finding himself. Normally, he would have been the first one roped into BM’s manipulative.

Take that, BM!
