OT - Vacation Rentals in Gatlinburg
DH and I are taking the SSs to/around Gatlinburg this summer as a final family outing before OSS goes off to college (and as part of his graduation present).
For those of you who vacation/travel to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, do you have any recommendations on cabin rental companies or hotels or condos? Maybe things that are cool to do/see?

I've rented through Dollywood
I've rented through Dollywood Cabin rentals and been pleased. Check out the cabin named Rejuvenation. It is in the Starr Crest Resort which has a pool. The cabin itself has a hot tub, pool table, game system, etc.
Cades Cove Loop (either by car or bicycle) is great and, if you can take a short but steep hike, Clingman's Dome is spectacular.
BlueGreen timeshare has
BlueGreen timeshare has property there. You could get a mega discount if you want to sit thru a timeshare pitch. Or you could rent from one of the current owners.
I've heard the Titanic museum is cool.
I had rented a cabin
through Air BnB and it was in Pigeon Forge right outside of Gatlinburg. Had a hot tub on the deck and was on a hill, it was really nice! Just depends how much room you need, we had two bedrooms, 1 King bed and 1 set of bunk beds.

Great location in Pigeon Forge. Only small complaints were kitchen was VERY basic as far as cookware went, and the bathrooms are dated but functional. But for the price we paid, I didn't expect the lap of luxury. The deck/hot tub at night was my favorite part. Dollywood was so much fun. Above and beyond what I expected, and the facilities, food, and employees were far nicer than any theme park I've ever been to. We did the mountain coaster too, which was a blast. And the pirate dinner show, though your kids may be too old for that. There was much more that we didn't get to, so I'm definitely planning to go back.
