Anyone/thing else wanna come for me this Christmas season?
It has been a week, and I'm flucking over it.
1.) My dog had a stroke. She is recovering after $900 at the emergency vet (plus another $300+ when she goes to her vet early next week for follow-up testing). I was absolutely terrified for her and realized how not ready I am for her to cross the rainbow bridge.
2.) ET quit her job. She also is moving in with her new BF in the new year. Anyone else feel like they've read that blog post before?
3.) ET also "lost track of time" today and is just now - after dinner time - ready for the boys to come over. But don't worry - sounds like she has been celebrating Christmas with her BF and his family all day. The boys have been trying to get in touch with her all day because last they heard they were either meeting at her or BF's house but no answer on which and they don't know where BF lives. So now they haven't eaten because we did a Christmas dinner last night and breakfast this morning since the boys were going to ET's and I just planned for DH and I to have leftovers.
4.) DH is annoyed that I'm making him parent. Neither boy took a shower today and DH is pissy about that. I reminded him that ET never taught them the importance of personal hygiene, so yes, he still has to parent them in that regard. And if it annoyed him all fracking day, he needed to say something versus only getting frustrated now that they have to quickly pack to go to BM's house. I'm also annoyed that he hasn't instilled gift-giving character into his kids, but I don't have the energy to tackle that today.
I'm also just tired after trying to take care of my dog, babysitting my mom's dog, cooking for family twice over, and barely sleeping because the pup wakes me up everytime she moves. So much for my relaxing two weeks off before starting back on IVF next month.

So much going on for you. I'm so sorry. Dog lover here.....so I fully understand your emotions. Lost my beloved boy in March and I'm still grieving. Praying your baby overcomes this and has many more years. Sending you a virtual hug and lots of good thoughts.
I think you guys would be
I think you guys would be justified in putting up with a lot less from ET. Also, I'm sorry about your dog. I had a cat who made a full recovery from a massive stroke and went on to have several good years left. Hope that's the case here!
Aww..I'm so sorry for the pupper
I hope that the stroke was mild and that pupper has a long time to go before making the trek across the rainbow bridge.
ET all I can hope for the year is filled misery for her. May she rot....
