According to BIL, she's passed out drunk after a doozy of a fight with her boyfriend. She's been drunk since yesterday. She will probably be drunk during the phone call tonight if she bothers to make it. She has been drunk since she got out of treatment. Yay treatment!!!!!

I have a heavy heart today. SD9 went to a book fair. I gave her 20 to buy books since we don't have books that are age appropriate for her in the home. All the books we have right now are appropriate for the younger kids. She was supposed to spend 15. She found another 5 in her wallet, she spent it all. Not one book was purchased. It was a colossal cluster fuck of junk and erasers she didn't need. She can't take any of it back and her dad is furious. At lunch I told her how disappointed I was in her. She cried. I didn't bite. I get it, she's a kid. Shiny baubles and junk are what she is used to, as that is what her mom always gave her, crap that will end up under the couch or chewed up by the dog.

The house we wanted to buy got purchased today, the day I was going to meet with the bank to do the paperwork. It needed work but had such potential and a great price. It's been a disappointing day and will likely be a disappointing evening. Oh well, it's another day in the crazy life of Warthog and her drinking debacles.
