The youngest skid graduated yesterday. For the third time in the last four years, everyone involved in raising the skids gathered together to celebrate. This time it was to honor Lazy Boye 18's graduation from High School. And when I say everyone, I mean EVERYONE. All the skids were home from college, our BS, Loghead's parents, my parents, Loghead's sisters, a few cousins, Loca Grande, her husband, her brother and sister and mom, and 2 of Loca Grande's neices.

The last of the step kids graduates one month from today. I can see the end of the tunnel. 3 weeks after that, he leaves for Marine Boot Camp.

The other two have summer jobs and classes and don't plan to be home this summer...

The momen I have waited for for 15 years has finally arrived...

And Loghead thinks we've fallen out of love and maybe we should divorce. I flat out told him not to be an asshole; that I paid my dues and raised his kids and now it was my turn to have his undivided attention.

Princess will be 22 in a week! Ack! I can't believe it. She had a recent health scare, but fortunately ALL came back just fine! She had some female problems that actually caused some test results to come back whacked out, but after she was given some antiobotics and tests were run again, everything came out all clear.

It was a wake up call for her, and she has decided now to remain celebate until she is married. (There was a way to avoid the scare she had, but she didn't listen to all my motherly advice...)

But all is good now on that front.

I swear to goodness that at 5:45 this morning, I contemplated leaving my husband. I was getting ready for work and went to let the dog out. I tripped over shoes at the front door, so I turned on the lights. They belonged to my son's new girlfriend!!!!
