Loca Grande decided back in October that she would start paying for school lunches. Made a big deal about how she wanted to help out while we got back on our feet after Loghead was out of work for 9 months. (Would have been nice had she made the offer a year ago when he first lost his job, but anyway...)

Several times over the last few months she had commented that she'd been up at school to make payments and meet with the boys' teachers.

Tuesday we received a notice in the mail. PITA 16 owes over $100. Lazy Boye 15 owes $30. Now, first of all, why would the school let it get THAT bad before sending notice?! So, Loghead contacts Loca Grande and lets her know it's time to pay up again...

She finally responds this morning by text saying she was only paying for Lazy Boye, since PITA refuses to have anything to do with her. She also texted, "I paid twice. You expect me to keep paying?"

Loghead texted back that if the skid was going to keep eating, she needed to keep paying.

What kind of POS won't chip in to make sure their kid gets a decent school lunch? Due to finances all those years ago when the custody arrangement was first written up, there was never any arrangement made for checks or payments. It boiled down to he got the kids, she'd take care of their needs when they were with her, and medical costs would be split. Over the years, she "donated" when she could...

Loghead said he'd be calling the lawyer this week... With the school issue and her not paying the braces for PITA, I guess he's just at his end.
