Last-Wife Update
Skids are good. Maybe I shouldn't say that out loud; it might curse it!
Princess 20 is back at college. She is healing well from her surgery, and starting this week will be crutches free; still wearing the boot on her foot. Had a few dates, but says her classes are more important right now.
PITA 18 is a senior. He was a nominee for school king last week, but didn't win. Has a new girlfriend who is WAY out of his league right now, but he is rising up to meet her standards. he has patched things up with Loca Grande, and has been there a few times over the last 3 months.
Lazy Boye 17. Junior. Part time job. Major crabby pants. I just pray each day he doesn't get his girlfriend pregnant because she is dumber than a bag of rocks.
Gibby 11. Loving 5th grade- helps that my best friend is his teacher! Lost 4 pounds, and is loving his new workout routine.
Things are so good with Loghead, and I am adjusting to my new job. Does SUCK to teach in three buildings every day, but enjoying HS kids more than I thought I would... The goth girls still scare my just a bit...
Loca Grande is crazy as always, but if you check out my other post, you will see she is dealing with some possibly big stuff right now.
Oh- and I have another "son" right now! PITA came to us a few weeks ago, that a friend of his was being abused by his dad. Long story short, we took him in and his dad said that was fine- "One less mouth to feed..." And this kid has made our boys realize they don't have it so bad. He can't get over the fact we have meals together; when we asked him what cereal he likes so we could buy it, he said he didn't know because no one had ever bought him cereal before. When the SS start acting like shits, this kid is like, "That's your dad's wife, and she's taking care of you? My stepmom hates my guts; and she made you home-made cinnamon rolls?! You could help out... We could be doing that without her even having to ask..."
They've all stepped up to help out; I'm really enjoying having this kid around. It lets the boys see the grass isn't always greener...
