In 14 years, Loca Grande has told me at least 5 times that she "might have cancer." She's even taken to saying it to the kids when they are ignoring her, so they will spend time with her...

Well, in the last week, she has had a D&C and a hysterectomy. Waiting to hear results. Princess 20 is done with it... Lazy Boye 17 said he can't drop everything everytime she says "cancer." and amazingly enough PITA 18 went to see her over the weekend, and called her 3 times the day of her surgery!

She called me last night, still heavily medicated and bitched me out about how I have turned her kids against her, and she can't believe they would be so heartless not to call or visit... Two other times, they were with her at the hospital for biopsies and things, and she kept telling me she didn't want them to know how serious this could be. She was horrible last night, telling me she disowns the kids and she won't bother to tell us the results of her tests.

Gullible, her husband, called me and apologized today. He had hid the phone last night while she was sleeping, and went outside to check on their animals. When he got in, she had found the phone and was leaving nasty messages to all kinds of friends and family! He said today, she was feeling better, and was horribly embarassed by her behavior.

I know I have my ups and downs with that woman, and there is a part that says she's always craved having the "cancer card" that it might serve her right, but as the daughter of a survivor, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. And I don't want my kids to have to go through that with her.

Given her mental status, I could see her offing herself if it is cancer, and I don't want the skids to go through that either...

It could get real tough around here...
