A few updates
One- i went to the mom group. Seems cool, i have not offically joined yet, but non of the moms there turned me off...they seem kind of low key, not real pushy. So makes me feel good about joining!
Two- dhs friend (the guy who invited us over for a cook out but already ate) well we were over there today! He invited us(not a guy night) but i told dh to ask about his kids. Dh did not ask and no his kids were not there! Well he invited his woman over and her "bratty" daughter.
So i got to meet this woman.
First- he only had hotdogs, she brought veggie tray and chips. So yes he wants her to host for him.
Two- he gave her the ring(a couple weeks ago) , and yes she is crazy!! She is talking about dates and told him a few times anout a baby!! She asked me about my kids and i said dh has a son, and my son that was playing with her daughter, and she(my daughter) is ours together. She said "that will be us, we are going to have a baby."
He is not moved in yet, and they bought a purbreed dog together. She is really excited about it.
I did not say anything to her about the bratty kid thing, she has already dived into the deepend of the pool.

Side note- he told us later after she left her daughter does not have a dad, she went to a sperm bank, she wanted a baby so had a baby by herself. (Not judging her at all, but sounds like she gets what she wants so she will make a baby happen)
He asked dh if it was weird she was baby talking already and like pushing it on him....

Hello, come in... Yes, it is a little more than just weird, in my opinion. I do not think they should even raise the dog together, actually.

Yes, and she was like "i knew you would not have much." But she was like happy to bring it. So she is not minding being put in that role. She almost like relished in the hostess title.
The baby thing is just crazy. I get you have some baby clock, but whoa, can the guy move in first!
Besides the baby talk, she was really nice and it was easy to talk to her. No weird awkward silence!
(Ok and she watches game of thrones, soooo i dont hate her, lol)

She played minecraft with my
She played minecraft with my son, and from what i saw not really bratty or whiney.
I mean they played minecraft for awhile together, usually that causes fights, kids coming up to tell on the other one, but from what i saw, my son got a little bossy with her, and she was ok. No stomping up stairs "he wont let me blah blah". I got on him about the bossy stuff, and they played fine.
The only thing i noticed was when she came up to eat. She did have a little bad behaviour with mom. Mom was talking and she like put her hand over her moms mouth, then mom stopped talking to deal with her.(she did that a few times, mom did not bat an eye, so i think its a regular thing. Mine would have broken fingers if he did that!)
Also she was not happy about eating the hotdog because it was burnt (grilled) so she took one bite kind of gagged, so mom let her have veggies instead.
But what kid is not a brat with food? Mine hates hotdogs, so he had a cheese sandwich with the hotdog roll.
Besides the hand in moms face, she was polite and nothing else really stood out.
Im sure we will see them again, ill make a better effort to talk to her child, i was so focused on mom. Lol
