Hello Everyone. I am very new at this . Advice needed. My stepson and his wife ask me to be their first child grandmother. I was so excited to be a grandmother . My daughter (age 26) has no children at this time. Well I bonded with my grandaughter and we were very close . My DIL and stepson was mistreating my daughter and really made me mad so I took up for us. So now my punishment is I cant be a grandmother anymore . I havent seen my grand in 1 year. They will not try to work it out and act terrible.Lots of drama they cause. I miss her so much . I know she wonders where I am . I have been to counseling but I still hurt so bad. I dont regret taking up for my daughter at all. They have been really mean to her before. My husband really got mad at his son and DIL also and told them how awful and wrong they are but they wont budge at all.I have tried to call so we can talk .I have sent really nice messages but they wont respond. @2 weeks ago was my grandaughter birthday and we bought her a gift but they would not accept it because I bought it. Only my husband was welcome to go to her party but he said where my wife isnt welcome them im not welcome. So any advice .What do you do?
