Texas - Child support calculator

So BM pays DH child support...kind of

They've always been able to agree on things so the child support she pays is significantly less than what the regular state calculator says, and it did not go through the courts, was just agreed upon.

SS just turned 18 and I know that there is going to be a talk about lowering it coming up REAL soon.

On the calculator I've found for Texas there is a portion that says "If you are providing (or can provide) health insurance for your children, enter the monthly premium amount." 

OT - vacation/trip ideas

So DH and I have a couple trips already planned for just me, him, DD4 and DD2. One of them is to go see my mom, and another one is to go to the beach with some friends with other children around our two's age.

I do like that we can go do some things without the skids, but at the same time I don't want to just not ever take them anywhere because I don't think that's fair. 

I'm looking for affordable trip ideas for all 7 of us (I don't really have reliable overnight child care for DD2 and DD4 so they'd need to come too). Here's more info to help, please give me your ideas!!

Update to bedroom issues with DH

First of all thanks so much to all that commented with advice and reached out thru PM on my last blog. I was feeling very lost and down.

DH and I actually had a really good weekend, in and out of the bedroom lol

This tends to happen where things seem to be looking up for a short time so I decide to not ruin the good momentum by talking to DH about the issues that are bothering me but I decided not to do that this time.

SD14 and the pants dilemma

Before school started, so mid August, I took SD14 and SD16 shopping for clothes. SD16 picked out one pair of pants and 2 shirts, I tried to get her to get more, even offered to take her to a different place, but she said no. SD14 who is very self conscious about how thin she is found 5 pairs of pants, 5 shirts, and a sweatshirt. SD14 wore these clothes MAYBE 4 times each, and has since not worn the pants or sweatshirt. She started wearing only leggings which I assume came from BM's house.

DH called BM yesterday to try to discuss with her SD14 dropping out of the specialized high school. As expected from what we've heard, BM is open to the possibility of SD14 dropping out of the specialized HS, but is totally against SD14 going to our town HS. BM thinks that if she drops out, she needs to move in with BM and go to BM town HS.

DH has primary custody, skids go to BM's every other weekend Thursday evening to Monday morning. Well at least SD16 and SD14 do, SS17 has a job in our town so he only goes to BM's every other Thursday night and is back Friday.

SD14 followed SD16's footsteps to apply for, and get accepted to a specialized high school in our district. It's a challenging program that when completed leaves them with their high school diploma as well as an associates degree, with literally ZERO cost.

Actually considering divorce - help!

I can't beleive I actually typed it out...the couple beers probably helped...

DH and I have been struggling lately, for about 10 months I'd guess.

DH is  not a bad person, but I've been feeling that he just does not treat me the way I deserve to be treated. I feel like I do so much for him and yet he just asks for more, and more, and more.

This may get long, I'll try to keep it consise...3 skids (SS17, SD16, SD14) and 2 DDs (DD3, DD2) DH is primary, skids go to BM's every other weekend (other than SS17 he always stays with us becuase he works in our town). BM used to be very absent mom, would pass skids off to her mom on her weekends, constantly ask for swtiches, or late pick ups, etc. She then had a baby with her BF and they moved in, since then she's become....better. DH and I still do all appointments, any school issues, etc.
