BM is Running from CS
Well we just got the news from CS. They made contact with BM's employer at the end of April and she had already left her job on the 15th. I'm not sure if she got fired or quit. She is not at her last known address any longer either. I'm wondering if she received something about the garnishment at her home and quit before they actually started taking money from her checks. What a winner.
BM's mom (the raisin) moved out of state recently, apparently the raisin thought this would stop the state of Colorado from coming after her for state taxes. We don't know where the raisin went, but I'm pretty sure BM went to live with her. It's odd to me that it took CS 6 months to find BM when we provided her employer information. When I talk to co-workers about child support, they make it seem like CS is all over the other parents case about missing payments and even track them down when they leave town or stop working. One of my co workers just found out her ex was in jail for missing payments and she said she didn't have to do anything to make that happen.
I don't have any experience in this department, so if anyone has any tips, I'd appreciate it. Do we have to try to track down BM for CS? Is it possible to just hop from job to job every 6 months and stay off the radar? How do you file contempt charges if you can't have them served?
I really don't care much about the money. I just hate that this woman could just walk away from her children, especially after putting them through years of hell. She blocked me from fb, but she's not very bright and doesn't know how to secure her account. Guess who her profile and background pictures are of? Yep, her children ( 5 year old pictures) so she can pretend she's mom of the year!!! It really makes me mad!!
PS: If the grammar police could just move along and let me get real answers from people who care, I'd really appreciate it. :jawdrop:

"the raisin" LOL Sounds like

Sounds like my 1st ex hubby before draconian CS laws *for NCP bioDADS* went into the books in the nineties
He'd quit on a dime the second an income execution came 'round.
If the NCP is a bioDAD, then CSEU will be on him like white on rice.
If the NCP happens to be a bioMOM, then the CSEU will be far, far less enthusiastic about collecting CS.
I think a lot of CP SMs here can attest to this phenomenon.
All she does is smoke and
All she does is smoke and drink and tan. She's in her 60's and looks 90, it seriously freaked me out the first time I saw her. Anyway so you can't do that anymore? Everyone keeps saying they will catch up to her eventually but I'm worried it took so long to find her the first time, she could just change jobs for years.
That is so lame that BM's can get away with ditching CS. I was afraid that would be the case.
She sounds like Chef's older
She sounds like Chef's older half sister! Have you tried a fake FB acct?
Yep. She's not on very
Yep. She's not on very often. Just some pictures of her with a new Chihuahua and how it "kept her going all this time." I feel bad for that poor dog. She still says she works at the last place and no location updates. I just check it out from time to time in case she updates. I'm wondering if it's a coincidence she quit her job right before the garnishments or not. If not, she'll probably work hard to stay off the grid.
I want my SO to call the Raisin and at least get her home address, he could say it's so the kids can mail her something.
Yep you have to get creative.
Yep you have to get creative. I'd bet the ranch she's dodging CS. Because she's an NCP bioMOM expect liitle to no help from the CSEU.

Usually, CSE goes after the NCPs of kids who are on some type of welfare first. That's what I was told. I had to do a lot of my own footwork for CSE since we were not.
That would make sense. I
That would make sense. I doubt she would ever go on welfare. She is a very odd bird, anything having to do with official paperwork and an official state run department scares her to death. Her grandpa used to file her taxes for her and after he passed away, she just never filed them again. That was 7 years ago. Plus now she doesn't have any dependents or disabilities so I don't think welfare is an option. I guess I'll have to keep an eye on FB and hope she slips up somewhere.
