I love my DH.

He has come so far from the Disney Dad he used to be. He is up at the plate, parenting his kids 99% of the time. (There is about 1% of Disney Dad left in him.)
Last evening skid2 and skid3 had crap going on at school. One had a band performance the other had an art “exhibit” aka open house for all parents to come in and ooh and ahh over the ‘art’ their high schooler has created… some was really good. Others, let’s just say I thought they had supplemented the supply of art by raiding the walls at the local elementary school.

I have to, at times, sit and contemplate the future of mankind. The idea of what society will be like in another hundred years scares the absolute crap out of me.

Just comb back through this web site and how many narcissistic, bipolar, histrionic, manic depressive mothers are referenced? And the one thing they all have in common: They bred, typically more than once. So those same genes have contaminated another generation, and much like pollution in a river run down stream with a vengeance and will continue to contaminate generations to come.

I have said in prior posts that skid1, aka sd18, has been steadily pulling her head out of her ass.

Her attitude is much better.

She is in school and night school so she can graduate on time with her class. Lowest grade on her report card is a C+. Literally one point from a B and the C is in Gym. Considering this kid used to think "excercise" was having to get OFF the couch to go to the bathroom or fridge, big improvement.

Ok. I do not like Kelly.

At all.

I do however like her step mother.

Shopping trip started off ok. We (skid3 and I) picked up Kelly and her step mother, head to the mall.

Apparently Kelly's dad gave Kelly $50.00 to spend. Stepmom has her own $ from her own job. We spent about an hour wandering from store to store that the girls wanted to go to. Then holy hell, Kelly's step mom and I saw it at the same time... shoe sale... buy one get one FREE and it was ON!
