BM sends bill
Per the divorce decree the BM has to send DH any bills that we would share for SD in a timely manner. We just got a bill and it's already 60 days past due. It says that the amount is due in full immediately as it's past due. So my question is what's considered timely? Do we have to pay it?

Thanks. The good thing is
Thanks. The good thing is the bill is not in our name so it's not connected to our credit. Otherwise I would really have flipped out. It's good to know that you can do that though for future reference cuz who knows what bm will do. We are regularly checking out credit just in case.
File a contempt of court
File a contempt of court charge with the courts. 60 days past due is not acceptable and she would be held accountable for the bill. save the envelope it came in as evidence with the post mark date. Also contact the doctors office/dentist and ask for a statement showing their bill cycle and the dates when bills/notices have been sent to BM.
Just pay the darn bill. If
Just pay the darn bill. If you can't pY all of what is owed send what you can now and finish later. The bill is for the kids. Why spend extra money on contempt charges if you don't have it. Just say something to BM that can she please get the bills to you more quickly. It's her credit
Our BM put DH's name as
Our BM put DH's name as living at her address for the doctor's bill.
Then she brought the mail for us, because DH has agreed to pay the entire medical bill (not half as per court order) because the bitch railroaded him by saying "you pay the entire medical for Stepmom31's kids and our kids came first, so you should pay the entire bill too" and DH fell for the guilt trip.
So if we don't pay the entire bill, DH's credit is on the line.
