So SD13 has been out of the country with BM for 3 weeks. I'm sure you can imagine the drama this all caused before they left. Let's just say BM can not afford to walk away from her piece of job for 3 weeks. She wanted DH to pay for everything . .. He stuck to his guns and informed her that this was her trip so it was her expense. We don't ask for money when we take SD13 on vacation with us. I was so proud of him. We gave SD13 some spending money and then we both agreed that we would send something ($150 US) to the family friend who was putting SD13 (not worried about BM) for almost a month to help cover SD's meals and what not . . .I should also add that the family friend is also unemployed with 3 kids of her own.

Here's what I didn't know . ..DH mentioned to SD13 the plan of sending something to the family friend (not BM) to help out. Well what does SD do . .she tells BM of course. We get a call bright and early this morning . .. SD is set to return on Wed. We haven't heard from her since she's been gone. She was asking about the money that we were planning to send to FF. WTH! She goes on to ask (we could hear BM in the background) how we were planning on sending it and why we hadn't sent it yet. SD13 (really BM) was trying to give us instructions and how to get the funds to FF through them. I'm sure you can all see where this is going right . . .Poor FF has not a clue. DH and I decided that we would give FF a call on Thursday once BM and SD13 are back in the states and ask her how she would like this handled.

The nerve and besides that it's only ($150). GEEZ!
