Back at 'cha, DH
If you'll remember a few episodes ago DH pretended he didn't know who had left out dirty dishes and included me as a suspect. (https://www.steptalk.org/blog/itb2012/revisionist-does-it-things-small-a...)
We have workout equipement at our house. Some of it is pretty heavy and gets left out. I have a bad back and should not be lifting some of the stuff. About two weeks ago I went to go use the stuff and there was a mess and heavy weights all over. I was done trying to push things out of the way or work around them so I went to DH and DS and asked that whoever left things out please go clean them up. They both went (not a surprise, they both use the stuff and both leave messes in general).
Last night I went to use stuff and there was a mess again. DS and DH were not home (I went to look for DH but he was not back) so I sent them a joint text and reminded that I have a bad back and to please clean up. Two hours later I had forgotten about it but two hours later DH finally read the message and got red-faced that I was assuming he'd done it and that I shouldn't lump him in with the kids.
Okay, let's dance. I asked DH if he remembered the dirty plate situation. He said that was nothing like this. I said: "Really? If you get to pretend that you don't know who left a mess, then I get to pretend I don't know, too." (I wasn't pretending, but the statement made my point and DH let it go.)
