O/T - RIP to a dear four legged friend

Sad Sorry but I need a place to get my sorrow off of my heart. I had to put my beagle down today. He had an allergic reaction to chicken and had complete internal failure. The hardest thing to watch is your dear dog deteriorate in front of your eyes. At least he is not in any pain any longer.
I feel bad that I can't let my ds19 know; I can't post on FB or send a message to my son as he is in the Navy and they will block the message.
RIP-You were very loved!

OMG how sad!! I am so so sorry. That is terrible!! I never heard of a pet being allergic to chicken. How scary. My DH is allergic to chicken!!

When my DH was young he had to put his dog down because he ate shellfish and he couldn't be saved. So sad!!
