I met my biological father's older sister on Saturday. My biodad did not know I existed and my mom never told his family after he passed away (I was 2). I found them a few years ago. We talked a lot on the phone but had never met.

We had a wonderful time. We hit some historic sites and local restaurants. We talked a lot. She gave me a gorgeous scarf for my birthday and her husband made a disc of pictures of my family and my father for me.

Being with them felt so easy and holy crap I look just like her. They said they will be coming near our town again in a few months, my uncle has a work thing and he will be dropping my aunt off to stay with us. I'm so excited.
