SD9 talks to herself?

Is that still normal at her age (9, nearly 10)? She'll just mutter to herself while she's doing dishes or whatever. Not sentences, or really even words, nor is it singing or humming. Usually it's just little hissing sounds or muttering, almost under her breath. It's kinda creepy. Makes me wonder about her.

*shrugs* Kids make up their own languages all the time, I did it with my twin sister. As long as she isnt being overtly threatening or muttering words to make you worry about her mental health...just ignore it.

I still talk to myself, nothing important just whatever's floating around in my head. I make a sincere effort to do it only when I'm alone but I'm not always aware I'm speaking and not still just going on in my head. I'm also artistically inclined, since others are making that link.

I'm 44 and I have full on, one sided conversations, out loud. It's such a bad habit and it's really funny when my son says "Mom, stop talking to yourself you weirdo!"
