When are you "financially ready" for a child? I don't think you can ever be "financially ready" for a child

My husband and I have been getting into it lately regarding our difference of opinion about when to have our first child together.

I'm getting really angry at him because he just doesn't get it. I'm pissed at the fact that our 7 year relationship has always been revolved around HIS time-line and when HE is ready. Everything from when we got engaged, when we moved in together, when we got married, all of it was when HE was ready. Now I'M ready to have a child but HE is not.

Timeshare

My husband had purchased a timeshare with his ex-wife 9 years ago. This morning he found out from his bitch ex-wife that his name is still on the contract they signed and that he can still be paying for it. My husband had asked her why hasn't she come to him regarding making arrangements to sign a new contract taking his name off and she said I quote "I enjoy using it, I just have no money to pay for it" which means he's still paying for something he hasn't used in over 9 years. Note: I don't know how he realized this crap NOW after 9 years or why he didn't take care of it sooner.

I'm keeping SD9 for a week after all :(

So SD9 spent 3 & 1/2 days straight with her BM to spend her birthday weekend at Disney. SD9 even missed a day of school for this which got me a lil upset but whatever. Anyway, she came back yesterday evening and man did DF and I want to BEAT her! She came back with such a freaking attitude! DF was trying to be nice by asking her how was her trip and what did she do. But she kept being all snappy and giving him smart ass, rude remarks.

Karma is a bitch…gotta love it.

So SD9 had gone to Disney land this weekend (her birthday weekend) with her BM. Well I had to push my plans for her slumber party because of the bitch and I guess things work out on their own. Turns out the weekend they went to Disney was a crappy weekend for weather. It rained all weekend, and hard! (Evil laugh) Poor SD9 said she couldn’t do a lot because of the rain. While she continued to whine how awful it was I thought to myself “well that’s want your BM gets!

Just found out I might be keeping SD9 for 3 months ON MY OWN!!! DF might be going out of town for business. (He's in the military) He needs to do some training for 3 months and he "Needs me" he Pleads me to keep SD9 during that time, during the week(because of school.) and have BM take her the weekends.

does this make me the bad guy???

DF and I have SD9 all school week and the BM has her in the weekends. SD9 does a lot better in school when she stays with us plus it just makes more since to have her during the school week because her school is in our side of town. I just finished hosting a slumber party for SD9’s b-day this month. (Which BTW was very exhausting since I got NO help from DF.) I’m usually the one getting her ready for school, packing her lunch, taking her to school, and helping with homework. Getting her ready for bed etc…

BM has remarried but still goes by my DF's last name. WTF?

According to my dear fiance BM is married to her now fuck buddy. Which I think is untrue, I recently found out that she still goes by my DF's last name. If she is remarried wouldn't she be taking her now husbands last name? I find it very odd that she supposedly has remarried but kept her ex-husbands last name. And the whole excuse about wanting to have the same last name as her daughter for tax/insurance purposes is a shitty/lame excuse because she has a now fuck buddy child which I know goes by HER daddy's last name and not my Fiances. So WTF gives? Can you even do that?

To get married that is the question.....

DH and I will be getting married next year in July. We have been together for 6 years. He was and still is my First love. But sometimes I just have my doubts and wonder if I SHOULD marry him.

There is a saying: A first love will be the hardest to let go and forget because of what you had shared and experienced with that person all for the very first time.
