Hello Again

Fed Up And Wiped Out's picture

I haven't logged on in awhile. I hope everyone is doing well. The last time I blogged, I wrote about breaking up with my BF. Well, since then we've had several long talks and I think things are going to be ok now. The skids have been away most of the summer and I haven't seen them for two months now. Things have been great here without them. We've completely resolved our relationship problems and communication has been very open and honest. I have to say, we're doing better now than we've ever been. In the past month, I've fallen in love with him all over again and remembered the reason we're together in the first place. We really are two peas in a pod! It has also shown me that a lot of our problems had to do with SD16 and her manipulations. We've talked about this and we are no longer going to allow her to interfere with our personal relationship with each other. In fact, we've actually put a bid on a nice new house in the country this week and it has plenty of room for everyone (including a place for me to escape from them when they are there!) Our bid was accepted and we go to the bank on Saturday. I'm very excited. The house is just beautiful and I feel like things are starting to really come together for us. I'm a little nervous, but more excited than anything. I have a feeling that maybe things are starting to finally turn around. SD16 got her first job at a fast food place this week, so she won't be around as much, as she will have to work weekends and that is when she comes over here anyway. I was glad to hear that I won't have to deal with her crap so much anymore. I've completely detached from the skids and life has been so much more relaxing lately. They are coming over for the first time in a month this weekend and BF is planning to tell them about the house. I think SD16 will have a fit, but I don't plan to be around to hear it. I'm going for dinner with my grandmother. I'll write back later in the week to let everyone know if I'm a knew homeowner and how the skids took the news! Hope all is well with everyone. Good night and good luck.
