Just giving an update after a very busy few weeks. I have left my rented accommodation and I am now firmly established in my new place and...I love it!!! It is even better than I thought it would be- so many, many things are falling into place I haven't dared to process it all- in fact I haven't had any time to think about anything other than sorting things on my to do list!

After what seems a long wait- just about six months- I pick up the keys to my new house tomorrow and so the next exciting stage of my life begins. I can't wait!

I will be moving my furniture on Monday and fully moving out of this 'prison' of an apartment in a couple of weeks.

It has been a reasonably smooth journey, made easier by the support of family and friends, and there have been days of frustration, sleepless nights and the odd caving in to tears- but, I've done it and I haven't even needed to touch my savings or get into debt, which was one of my main concerns.

well today the house finally sold and the relationship I thought was forever is now officially over. I have heard nothing from TheX- he has not sent any message of regret or even hatred- typical that he has remained true to form with that deafening silence. I will never know how he felt about things and I now see our time together as a bit of a dream. Did the last nine years really happen?

Four months ago he raised his head out of the sand enough to tell me he wanted to leave me- but he didn't leave, and I got so sick of hearing him say he was leaving that I left. Now he really wants the sale of the house to go through but admits he's done nothing about it... and left it to me to sort out the mess. When will I ever be rid of this total idiot person who is now blaming everyone involved except himself??
