my mom called me to see if i wanted to meet her my aunt, great aunt and gpa for dinner. HELL YEAH! i'm trying to spend all the time i can with my gpa because he has unopperable pancreatic cancer. so i get there early and get my name on the list so they didn't have to wait so long. they get there and my grandpa grabbed my hand and said "i'm going to hold your hand so everyone thinks i'm your sugar daddy" i laughed, it took me time to "play along" i called him grandpa, he said "you're supposed to address me as honey, dear or darling" i said "ok grandpa dearest" lol he played like that through the whole meal. I got up to go use the restroom after eating, he then said "do you need help" of course i turned that down.

as we were leaving, they were waiting for my mom to come back with the car, there was a whole slew of ppl waiting for a table outside, so i strutted my stuff, walked up to my grandpa and as i was walking i spoke loudly, and said "thank you for dinner honey darling dear" lol it was so much fun.

that was his way of telling me he knew my plans and supports me 100% in getting away from my current situation.
