In my last blog post, I stated that BM's license is suspended due to not paying any of the child support since court. was supposed to start paying around $430 a month starting Nov 1st. After 3 months behind, they updated her monthly payment to $500+ to make up for the child support not paid.

A few days after she gave up on trying to drive the kids to TN with a suspended license, she decided to pay abour $130 in child support through the state (which just a week prior she said she could never get a hold of them to set up her account/payments). about 1/4 of the amount she is supposed to pay monthly now. Still haven't heard from her through email or phone call.

We were thinking she paid a small amount to either mess with my SO's head, or hoping it would be enough to get her license reinstated. While it is possible she talked to the CS office and they told her she could have her license back if she paid this small amount, the CS/MVA website for our state says that she needs to pay the total amount in full, or make 6 months full payments before she can get her license back.

Seems like she is just playing games, glad she finally paid something, but she could have used that $130 + the gas money she was planning on using ($100+) to purchase train/bus tickets to come get them instead.
