So I just purchased plane tickets for DH and the girls to visit DH's mom in Florida for Christmas. Cost me a pretty penny but she is 82 and I don't foresee too many more opportunities for him to visit his mom. BM actually agreed and didn't pitch any sort of fit like I anticipated.

So Christmas will be without hubby and the girls. SOOOO...I am taking my boys skiing and buying them lessons. For the whole weekend it will be just me and my boys and I am so unbelievably excited. No worries on buying gifts for five children equally. We're buying them a Wii and these trips and that's it.

Final Orders Hearing for BS12 is on the 8th of October. StepTalk YaYa Sisterhood Campout on the 17th. MamaSita and I are driving down together and I can't wait for a roadtrip with my buddy. Thanksgiving at my house and Christmas on the slopes. Collarbone should be good and healed by then...at least it better be. Dr. today said that I have a ways to go and to stop overdoing it...I asked him how that was possible with five children? So I guess I'll try once again to take it easy with the worst nurse maid for a husband and an unsympathetic boss who still expects the world from me...Oh well.

Life is still good. Smile

That is so nice that you are understanding about DH and the skids visiting with his mom over a holiday. You are correct in that our parents will not be around forever and now that my parents are near their 80's and I live a few states away now I always make an effort to spend time with them when I can and they are so appreciative to have the whole family together - that means more to them than any gift or card. Good luck on the hearing for your son. I hope everything turns out in your favor which I pray it will. Take care
