Today is the day
Winona SD17 turns 18!
She asked on Saturday, if she turns 18, is she aged out of the custody schedule. SO hedged, said "you have to graduate high school", then recovered his senses and said "you need to also get a job and pay rent to be here full-time". Causing her to walk away quietly.
At least this way, she cant do what she normally does, which is whine, and complain to dadeee "don't you want me with you? I am your daughter!"
Ick. What if she actually DOES get a job? And actually DOES pay rent? I still do not want to live with this entitled, lying, mean, selfish, narcissistic brat. Plain and simple.

YES. You hit it. I am wondering the same thing. I keep saying "full time job", and thinking it should be a set amount, to include food and utilities. So then she can buy her own gas and pay her own insurance.

Nope. No matter how bad her attitude "shes still my daughter, she will always be welcome in my home". So I have to shut up and deal with it. Basically. Unless I do like Acra and Clever, and get my own place.

Is she going on to college in the fall? She's not going to get a decent wage job with no experience or higher education.
You've mentioned she likes hair and make-up. If she's not going to college she might think about getting her training and license in a field of this area.

Daddeee hasn't mentioned anything, but I did a calculation based on # of rooms and utilities - to be about 450. Which for someone with no job, and no license, might be tough!

The rent should be calculated as follows.....
bond/rent payment divided by 3
Utilities divided by 3
basic groceries divided by 3
wifi/cable etc divided by 3
Total per person - and that's what Princess will pay
Princess will no longer benefit from your or DH's cellphone plan, she gets her own, she needs to pay her share of medical in cash, clean after herself, do her own laundry and well the house hold chores will be divided in 3, each person gets a day for cooking and cleaning lol.....
Then find a cheap flat nearby, where she will pay way less and give it to her, maybe she will decide to move out on her own
I got her a frame from
I got her a frame from Goodwill, for a birthday drawing her sister gave her. ANd a commemorative Disney stamp, also from Goodwill. Its on her bed because she spent her birthday at BM's.
She received a $300 birthday present from dadee - an ipod where she can text and watch videos, and surf internet - all with no cell service plan - so that was easy!
She still be needing a license and job, for that "life after high school" thing. Maybe she will decide to have a boyfriend, who has a car...?
