Another post about food got me thinking about recipes. I kind of get stuck in a rut when it comes to what to make for dinner and would like to find some new ones. Any of you have any good ones that I can try out?!

Easy Parmesan Tilapia. We have it at least one night a week when we have all the kids. They love it.

1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 TBS lemon Juice
2 tbs butter
Any fresh herbs you want (I use basil and oregano and chives)
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 tsp chopped garlic

Mix in a mini chopper. Turn oven to broil. Salt and pepper filets.
Put on cooking sheet w/foil under. Spray foil with cooking spray. Broil 3 minutes on one side. Take out - Flip over. Salt and Pepper and spread the parmesan mixture on top. Covering completely. Broil until they are a nice golden brown.

We serve with a rice or pasta side dish and a nice veggie

Easy Lasagna

Follow directions on box for preparing lasagna noodles.

Brown 1 lb hamburger meat. Drain grease. Add one jar of your family's favorite pasta sauce. Mix. Allow to simmer.

In seperate bowl- big: Mix a small container cottage cheese, 1 cup mozerella cheese, 1/4 cup paremesan cheese, and 1 egg.

Add meat mixture to cheese mixture. Layer in pan. Meat, noodles, etc.

Sprinkle mozzerella on top. Bake 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.

You can use same cheese and meat mix with any kind of noodle. Meat and cheese mix can be frozen for up to 3 weeks before thawing to use with noodles.

Have not yet tried curry, but it always sounds sooo good. I come from Minnesota, the land of hot-dish! It's see what ya got in the cupboard, mix it all together in a dish, throw it in the oven and BAM, ya got dinner! lol

Yep. Tater tot hot-dish is the best! You've got your bread, meat, veggies and dairy all in one dish! lol

I like to cook chicken, steaks or pork chops in the oven cause it makes cooking it a little less of a hassle. It takes a little bit longer, but I don't have to worry about checking it or watching it, I can get other stuff done while it's cooking, there's no dishes needed to cook it (I just use aluminum foil) and the meat turns out very moist.
