I sent my older half brother I haven't spoken to in 10yrs a letter last week and I got an answer back today and then we talked on the phone for two hours. It felt nice. He is so happy now and except for some obvious things so am I, honestly it was nice just to talk to someone and know you had a connection with them. I lost so much family when I left my dad, we just didn't leave him we stopped talking to that whole side of the family to protect ourselves from him. It felt nice to reclaim something back to have a big brother agian. We talked so easy and it wasn't even wierd at all. We are going to get together for dinner soon just us and then we are going to have a dinner with us and our spouses and if all goes will then we will introduce each other to eachothers kids. I have a niece and two nephews I have never met. I just wanted to share some good news for once. I feel like a weight has been lifted from my heart that I didn't even notice was there until it was gone.
