Wow, BM is such a great mom...

SD10 had an orchestra concert on Tuesday night, and BM didn't come. I asked SO if she was working or something, but of course the job is history after a whole 2 weeks of being an adult. She just "forgot" to show up. Even after being reminded by both SO and SD10 several times. I would like to see the shit storm and fits that would have been thrown by BM if SO had "forgotten " about something that he was supposed to go to for SD10. Good thing she isn't the custodial parent.

Our BM always fills the poor SKids heads with how excited she is to come to these, then no shows and says she either had a flat, or a headache. Poor SKids seem to buy it. It's sad.

Oh, we have skipped at least 1 "recorder" concert that happened on BM time. But we at least told Sd10 we couldn't make it, and by that meaning we aren't taking time off work to listen to 30 children play the plastic Satan - summoning 6 hole death flute. This was the big concert for the year where they play at the college amphitheater with the high school orchestra. It's kind of a big deal and BM just didn't show up. Probably too busy posting memes on Facebook and drinking mountain dew.
