So, the culmination of the work-from-home vacation from hell, the kiddie pool.
But before that...
The air conditioner broke wednesday, no repairman out til this weds, and it is a lovely 86 degrees in my house.
Spent the whole week with BD6, went light on the add meds since she has managed to lose 2 lbs this summer, and wanted her to eat, and boy did I suffer the consequence for that decision.
Had a desk piled with paperwork that I spent all week doing, and still have not gotten the photo prints that my lawyer wanted on her desk by tomorrow morning.
Then today, all kids were home for the holiday being bratty and whiny and not listening. SO filled up kiddie pool, and then left to ride the neighbor's go-cart, the kids were having quiet time. I let my own kid out and told her to get ready to outside. Then SD just comes out and starts bugging me about the pool. I was pissed and said "No one even told you to come out! Your dad is outside. He is in charge of letting you out!" Then SO comes in like 10 sec later and gave me attitude about not letting SD out of her room. I said I wasn't in charge of her, he said yes, you are. I said she never listens to me anyways! It's not fair for her to selectively listen to me to come out of her room and play, but not when I say quit jumping on the bed for the 20th time!
