I am new to this and I'm so happy to have found this outlet for my frustration. A little back story, I was divorced for 15 years with two grown kids. I married a man 2 years ago that has now a 9 year old and a 17 year old. The 17 year old girl lives with us 1/2 the time. Her mom (the kids have 2 different moms)lives 15 miles or so away and does not contribute financially to help with her daughter at all. She acts like a friend not a mom. My husband pays for her private school education, braces, everything.
