OMG. SD22 is throwing herself a baby shower. What the fuck? I guess that's appropriate because she's having a girl this time? So tacky. I will not be going. I already planned on a practical gift when the baby is born, like diapers, but that's it. I absolutely will not give the impression that I think this is acceptable by going. Not gonna happen. She is unfuckingbelievable.

My friend who is actually a long time friend of FDH's and has known SD since she was 2 copied a post from SD and sent it to me because she's in disbelief, too. SD said in the post that she's "dreading planning her baby shower". She isn't dreading it. She's loving every second of it. I think she posted that so people would know to start planning a gift and to see if she could get any volunteers to help with cost, etc. I'm onto her bullshit.

It's bad enough to have another one only 2 years after your first. But I am REALLY struggling to wrap my head around her throwing her own. I would think that no one has offered to do it for her would clue her in that it's not proper etiquette, but apparently not.

NPD for damn sure. At one time, I thought she was simply an overindulged, selfish brat. But at 22, she is showing no signs of maturing out of this, so I'm pretty sure it's here to stay, making it much worse than a spoiled brat who thinks the world revolves around them, it's definitely a personality disorder.
