I could not believe this came out of that man's mouth. He was just home for 5 days. 5 days because he took his last vacation day yesterday (and spent the day playing cards with his buddies).

So he's sitting in the recliner (he's plopped there so much that, in less than a year of marriage, it's already taking on his shape)...and says-"I wish I was on unemployment right now!" Followed with "if we had an extra $1,000 coming in"-which would mean he wishes he was on unemployment and I have a job!

This from the man who has an IRS debt of over $40,000! This from the man whose house is going for tax sale in April!

Well, as you all know, I am trying so very hard to find a job. And have been trying for awhile. But it won't be to supplement H's unemployment when they do step up the layoffs-it'll be to provide for myself...and kick him out! I can't believe he said that-or even thinks that!

I was just reading a blog about unequal treatment of kids (DH was demanding behaviours from the posters d that he does not demand from his own d). That has been life with H. Everything for H and his family, little for my own. For instance, we have 5 cell phones on our plan. One for H. One for me. One for SD17. One for SD14. One for H's 50 year old brother! Yes, his 50 year old brother. Do you see any of my family mentioned there? Nope.

Christmas. H's mother spending the nite here. SD17, SD14 spending the nite here. My son had to go get a motel room! So, room for 3 of his family, no room for any of my family. In MY house!

Mother's day, 2008. Which is also my birthday. Spent the whole day with H's mother and sisters. Came home in the evening an had a McDonalds hamburger with MY mom. Wow.

Just a few examples that stick out in my mind.
