The skids are here and as per my wishes, SO and his kids are doing things to keep us all apart. I don't want to be around them, don't want to see them, don't want to hear them. I've been through it all, I've tried my hardest to bite my lip and just accept it all.... but I can't change my feelings anymore than I can change my SO and his kids. I HATE the way SO parents. He overacts at stuff I wouldn't say is a big deal and ignores things I think need more attention! It's obvious we have different parenting opinions but since they are HIS KIDS, his opinion is the only one that matters. So it has come down to complete disengagement. I don't think this is the answer either. This just means me and SO go the entire weekend without talking or seeing eachother. Basically making both of us even more irritable and makes me resent his kids even more. Of course when they are home while I'm home, I remember why we are doing it! They are soooo gross and spoiled!!! How many 11 and 9 year olds seriously can't use a microwave or toaster?!?!?!?!? These kids aren't allowed to do anything on their own!!! I'm pretty sure he still thinks of them as 6 and 4-their ages when they divorced. It's sickening and I'm sick of argueing in the skids favour for SO to start showing them how to do things and then letting them do it instead of doing EVERYTHING for them!! They've gone fishing twice this weekend already... they go pretty much every weekend they are here.... do the skids bait their own hook??? Take their own fish off the lure??? Nope. Don't get to do anything but reel it in. Why bother then?? Why not teach them these things while you're out there???? If we're at a smorg type meal, SO will still make thier plates!! It drives me nuts that these boys are soooo dependant!!! And I'm not blaming them! It's SOs parenting that will lead to our inevitable breakup because him and I have such opposite opinions of what kids should and shouldn't be allowed to do!! I feel he is holding them back from learning stuff they should know by now!!

AND HE STILL DOESN'T FOLLOW UP ON HANDWASHING AFTER POOPS!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! They gross me out sooooo much!!!

I'm going wakeboarding this afternoon to get away from them. Bet SO didn't think I'd ditch them for fun stuff just for myself!!! Usually it's him making the plans for him and his kids.... This might make him think a little clearer.
