Yet another Blog on Irresponsible Pet Ownership by Skids and BM

Auteur's picture

Let me start by saying the Behemoth (BM) has a great job and works about 10 hours less than I do as a CPS worker in her county. Her husband also makes about twice what I do. And they get the 12K from GG every year. With that being said, you'd THINK they would have enough $$$$ to take care of pets.

Most pets they HAVE had either have run away from the sheer ABUSE or died in captivity most likely from neglect.

VD (SD13) writes in her FB account (spelling corrected so you won't get a headache reading it)

"My cat is in heat so I have to lock her in the laundry room"

Seriously? Unspayed cats???!!! With all that dough rolling in to get the poor pet fixed??!! UGH!!!

Sadly, a person having money does not equal that person being responsible...trashy pet owners will always be trashy, no matter what kind of resources are available to rectify any issues & ensure that their pets are well cared for.

Auteur - I flipped out this week when I found out BM purchased a dog. She can't take care of herself or her children - how is she supposed to handle this responsibility? I told SS12 that I have no interest in taking the dog in should his mother not be able to handle it. Sadly, I feel this dog will end up in the pound. Not right away - but it shouldn't take long. That is sad to me on many levels. I know I should just sit back but I suppose my love of animals is making it a little hard. Not to mention how sad SS12 would be should the dog have to go. I have been disengaging of late and setting boundaries. Almost like I am putting myself in my own little protective bubble. I am sorry this is not quite on topic - I guess this puppy thing is bothering me a bit.

Since the epic "breakup" of GG and the Behemoth, the Behemoth has taken on several dogs and most of them have gone back to the pound for one reason or the other. One of which was that "spot nipped at Prince Hygiene"

Umm, If I were a dog, I'd nip at him too as he has been known to kick and shove my cats, chase them and in general torture animals with sticks and bb guns. Just like his "big sis" VD (SD13)

DH's kid rescued a kitten from some kids at a park one day this last summer (these kids had wrapped it in duct tape and threw it in some bushes). Now his kid has a little sister who has a canary. Bird....cat.....not a good combination.

So Uberskank bought an industrial strength cage for the bird that the cat can't get into. DH's kid always makes sure the bird is in this particular cage when her cat is in the apartment.

She's been at our place for about a week now. She got a call last night from Uberskank complaining about her cat. Apparently either Uberskank or one of her little sisters put the canary in a smaller, less secure cage and the cat knocked it off of the table, got to the bird and bit off half of a wing.

They are not blaming themselves for not making sure the bird was in a safe place or for not locking up the cat when it was in the flimsier cage. Oh no.....they are blaming DH's kid and the cat for the mishap.

Some people shouldn't have pets at all!

Geez this is a common thread with BM's and skids also. The skids have gone through so many freaking pets in their lives it is shameful!!! BM would get a wild hair to get a new dog or cat every 6 mos or so. Then when it became too much to handle they would give them away :jawdrop: Not doing any research on the people or anything. I get that pets require alot of work but look into before you get it!!! Animals are innocent in all this and they pay the price for people's stupidity!!
