O/T Taking Up Walking After Work

Auteur's picture

I leveled with GG that I cannot exercise in front of him.

Either he'll be:

1. judgeing me
2. thinking it's foreplay

TOTALLY derails my concentration so I'm taking up walking at the local school district after work.

He says he's fine with that or even me joining a gym. I brought up "with what money?"

He went into his "Money Grows On Trees" schpiel

The walking program is FREE!!

Since my exit program is coming along quite nicely, I have ceased to do the "walk on eggshells" spiel. I have decided to just do whatever I want. What's the worst that could happen? NN would kick me out?? Hahahaha!

It's already nicer. I have somewhat disengaged from NN altogether. He has stepped up his game by doing some of the nice things for me that used to be commonplace when we first were dating!

I think that this is a great idea for you and will help your stress level as well as your health!

I love walking! I am so excited that we changed the time so it stays light longer so I can now walk and run outside after work! Our 14 month old BS LOVES to be outside too, so I take him on all my walks.. my cut off is about 45 degrees... so as long as it is around 45 and not super windy, he goes with me and he LOVES it! Fresh air therapy is good for EVERYONE!

Yes walking is great. My dd and I walked 5 miles on Saturday. I will say that ss's presence in my home has always been great for my figure. The last time he was here for an extended time-almost 2 years ago-I walked every day after I got home from work. Got out of the house, did something for me, it was great. I also am careful what I eat-chips, etc as he may have stuck his hand in the bag. Oops-I think that last comment goes on the hygiene post!
