Spring Break rant (sorry to blog hog)
Just a quick summary...
We went to court in Jan. & now have a new CO. Unfortunately, new CO is not signed yet b/c DH farted around until I screamed at him that I wanted this shit over & done with before it ended up effing up our summer. I mean what was the point of the last 2 yrs in court & all the $$ we spent on attorneys if he is not going to proof his CO & send it to BM to get signed?? So with spring quickly approaching I reminded him several times over the last couple of months to get this behind us so that we know what was going on for spring break, summer vacation, summer holidays, etc & so that BM couldn't cause problems with those things.
I remind him again yesterday that spring break is this coming week & he needed to email BM to work out the details since the CO is still not signed. Technically, it is our year for break, but I was kind of hoping that BM would say NO since there was not a signed order. Quite frankly, I just started a new, very stressful job that I absolutely hate, DH is VERY busy with his business & cannot take time off, SD was a total brat when she visited last weekend & I really don't want to deal with any of this right now. I was hoping that BM would just keep her all week }:)
It is March Madness, & we live in a VERY basketball-crazy area with lots of local teams in the tournament. DH & BM are both huge sports fans. So, of course, when he e-mailed BM about this yesterday, she absolutely agreed that this was our year & now we have her from today thru next Sunday!! So now, on top of all our stress, we can't even enjoy the games, we can't do anything for spring break b/c we are broke & we have no time, & we have to scramble to find child-care, etc. b/c DH dropped the ball yet again by not looking at a calendar (I have everything marked on it months in advance) or being even remotely aware of what his CO says. The salt in my wound is that BM gets the week to enjoy watching the tournament child-free! The ONLY time she actually doesn't fight with DH over parenting-time BTW, is when there is a sports event she wants to watch.
I am so over everything. Calgon take me away!!!!
