Do you ever feel like you treat SKs better than bios???

It's kind of upsetting especially since the steps are adults! I sometimes wish I could yell,bitch,and do my famous faces to them like I do my own.
My bios pointed this out.My kids think I am nicer to the others.I told them sorry. Maybe,they (the steps) wouldn't be the way they are if their parents would of "parented" differently and its not my job to parent them only my three.

Yeah, my 3 have pointed out the same to me. (our kids are all little though). I think it would be different if my 3 saw SO growling SD and dishing out consequences when appropriate AND if he was super nice to them and played with them one on one (like I do with SD), it wouldn't be so bad, so the real issue is that SD is treated like a Princess who gets away with everything and has TWO adults in the house to play with. I just remind my kids that SD is un-liked by a lot of kids because she's quite spoiled while they grow up with manners and standards and have many healthy r/s's with all people in their lives.

Smile Thanks for bringing up such a great point. Sometimes we get so caught up in skid bullshit we forget to enjoy our own children. It really is a shame. Stepping back to look at the big picture is very important. I have to sit down and clarify what my priorities are and focus on those.
