Blissful weekend
Afterall the BS that has been going on at my house, I finally have gotten a break from skids. They went to BMs house for the weekend. DH and I had a hear to hear about the way they behave when he's not here and how I am treated by them when he's not here. He got it loud and clear, finally. I told him that if this behavior continues I will do what a few of you in my previous post suggested. Drop their angelic asses off to mommy dearest. Skids got home from their BMs house on Sunday and I was so proud of DH, he laid down the law. He didn't candyass around with them like he normally does. SD cried of course but DH didn't fall for it. SS had the holy crap dads serious look. We'll see how it goes.

Teenagers!!
I've got my SDs here full-time too, and even though they've improved tremendously, they still have those "teenager" moments where I just want to pull my hair out and for someone to give me a magic wand that would take them away for a few hours- a wand like the ones the fairies used in Sleeping Beauty. Unfortunately, dropping them off at their mother's isn't an option because she doesn't care about them and makes that very clear to them when they're there. BIG BIG BIG kudos to your DH for waking up finally. If he continues to lay down the law and follow through each and every time, things will get better for everyone, slowly but surely.
