Thanks for the encouraging words of those who actually read my long rant yesterday

I know I probably treat my younger boys a little differently than I do my oldest. But, it's hard not too! As I've pointed out to my "step"son, he's 14 where the are 3 years old and 7 months old! I'm not about to treat them all the same ~ I don't think he wants me blowing on his belly and giving piggy back rides. It is a battle and I am aware that I probably treat him differently at times, but I think we treat all kids differently depending on the child!

I am not opposed to him calling me as he wishes, I just want him to address me as something! And, if he can call me dad to everyone else in the world, then he should be able to call me dad to my face. It's a battle I've given up on and no longer discuss with him ~ one day his children will call me grandpa and that will be great!!
