Hi! I have been a lurker on this site for over a year. I have never posted...well for really no reason.

I am a childless stepmom to a boy 11. I have been married to DH for 5 years together for 9.

I have a great relationship with my stepson. He is very respectful and he knows that I am his parent. We have 50/50 custody, no court orders. We do what I think is called parallel parenting. We do what we do on our weeks she does what she does on hers. This is really not a good thing, it makes it so my stepson have two totally separate lives.
