these child support laws SUCK.
They are NOT going by what my husband makes.
we have been fighting this for 2 1/2 years,
and got the letter back today, NOTHING HAS CHANGED.
they are going buy a job titel not a w-2 form WTF?????

I don't know what your DHs job title is that is causing all these problems, but if the family court is being that obtuse about things like this in your state, you'd think every person would be putting a low-paying job title on their paperwork to get away with this.

Are they using the "new" statutes? They're supposed to be more father friendly but I also know there's a huge backlog of getting cases looked at. Is he self employed? Is that the reason they look at job title rather than income? Large percetage commission/incentive based? No idea, just thoughts.
I had my CSO drawn up 5 years ago under the old statutes and we absolutely used w2 income. Now, with that said, my ex is currently $18K in arrears so I focus more on the enforement than the amount, but that's just me
