Another day or two under my belt. It all just so annoying.

So SS is sitting in the living room watching tv. I am about 10 feet from him in the kitchen. BM calls him and he talks to her for about 10 minutes. I am not really paying attention until I hear his tone change and I hear him say … “I can’t talk about that right now” Then he gets up and goes to the bedroom for about 10 minutes.

WTH?

1). How rude to actually say that out loud.
2). I assume if he can’t talk about it in front of me, it is about me, or my DH.
3). Grow the F up. I have stayed away from him so it has been ok and DH has been kissing his ass, so why the secret drama with BM?

No idea how old your SS is but honestly a remark like that is just asking for attention. In a way he probably wanted you to ask him and/or interrogate him about the phone conversation. This will give him a story to gain attention elsewhere.

I would start every phone conversation that you have with "I can't talk about that at the moment..let me go into another room"

Or you could just send him to his room with the phone to chit chat with BM.
