Back to the real world and the ex family
So vacation is over and I already want to go away again. I had not been home more than 24 hours and my husbands ex-mother-in-law is already calling. WTH! This woman PISSES me off. She has to be one of the fakest people I know.
She called to wish my husband a happy fathers day (REALLY) and to ask him something about the kids. Um hello...the kids can talk and so can the ex...believe me, I hear their mouths way to much!
I really have issues with this. I am not jealous of her, but it is just weird. My husband says he talks to her "for the kids".
Really, "for the kids"...I am sorry but there is a line that has to be drawn and obviously my husband didnt get the memo.
I feel like he talks to his ex family more than he talks to my family. WHen do drawn the line? Should I just get over it and realize that I have married into his ex family or should I jsut piss my husband off some more and tell him to STOP talking to the bitch. I mean his ex wife doesnt bother him as much as the ex mother-in-law!

If she is the type of person
If she is the type of person to try to cause trouble among you, then I think you need to put a stop to it. If she is not, then let it go. My mom and dad love my ex-bil dearly and still talk to him. They no longer have him come over their house, so that my sister doesn't have to worry about running into him there...but they do see him and have an ok relationship with him...On the other hand, my parents NEVER say anything to us or anyone about if the guy is dating, if my sister is dating, etc...they keep their relationship exactly that...just a relationship between them...nothing related to my sister.
PS - I say hi to my ex-bil when I see him. A couple of times called him as he is my son's godfather...but as rumors surface he might be dating someone, I have not called him anymore. The rumors were NOT from my parents, but from a friend of his...if I see him I treat him with respect, never mention my sister, etc.
